ADCO Community Day – Oct 2024
A big thank-you to ADCO for choosing us for their annual Charity Day!!!!!! The children all loved watching you as you worked on painting, cleaning, sanding, mulching and building our new Guinea Pig hutch!!!! Thank-you once again everything looks sooooo fantastic!
Christmas closure dates
As another wonderful year comes to a close, we will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period from Thursday 19th December and will be re-opening on Monday 13th January. We will look forward to seeing all of the children and welcoming new families to the centre in 2025 ! The staff at Central Park Child Care Centre wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !
Family Fun Day 2022 !
This years family fun day was greeted with marvelous sunshine, lots of happy families and a special performance from Alex the Magician ! Lots of Food, fun, beverage, chatter and laughs were had by all. To top off the event, Alexs magic performance had the children and adults equally enthralled with the magic rings, disappearing milk, magically multiplying balls, among many other magic tricks ! A huge thank you to all who organised and attended the day and in doing so, made the day so special !
A new lawn !
Everyone loves the new lawn feeling right… Well this year, the centre has received a make over of the front yard lawn area ! No more mud pies in the grass! As the children now have an astro-turfed area, they can play to their hearts content without getting all muddy.
Air Filters
This year we purchased three air filters for the centre; two for the main area, and a smaller unit for the staff room. The addition of the air filters in the centre will not only improve indoor air quality but will also remove airborne virus and bacteria particles, thus minimising the spread of airborne illnesses such as Covid-19 and the Flu. This is particularly pertinent during the current COVID pandemic as well as the usual cold/flu seasons especially as the cold weather is forcing everyone in to spend more time indoors. In addition to this great capability, the air filters will also help reduce allergies by removing harmful particulates and allergens from the air, which will be especially helpful in the springtime. Overall this will create a healthier and cleaner playing environment for our little ones and a better environment for all.
Christmas closure dates
We will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period from Wednesday 23rd December and will be re-opening on Wednesday 13th January. We will look forward to seeing all of the children and welcoming new families to the centre in 2021!
