As an extension of our growing interest in insects (as we have recently had many ladybugs come to our playground for a visit), I thought the children would enjoy making some ladybugs of their own.
Throughout the experience, we discussed (in a way appropriate to each age and stage level) what we thought ladybugs look like, constantly referring back to the poster on the shed next to the table, how they are not all the same as like us they come from different parents who don’t all look the same.
