Our program

Our program has been designed by our educators using a play-centred approach whereby children of all ages have opportunities to try each of the following activities. The  needs of older children are catered for by our lead educator who organises separate, more complex activities during the early afternoon when the younger children are resting and sleeping.

  • Sensory arts and craft
  • Reading
  • Music activities
  • Cultural awareness and celebrations of diversity
  • All weather-play areas and activities
  • Environmental activities including growing our own plants and vegetables
  • Caring for pets (guinea pigs and fish)
  • Wellbeing activities including fruit picnics for morning tea
  • Recognition of each child's birthday
  • Local community participation (we are regularly visited by older people from a local retirement centre).
