Our Committee of Management

Central Park was established in 1982 by a group of parents whose values initiated a partnership with the City of Stonnington to provide a service that allowed for affordable, quality care of young children. A Committee of Management was formed by parents and continues to operate today which provides an integral role in the running and decision-making of the centre.

Each year a new committee is appointed and regular updates from the monthly meetings are shared with parents via the quarterly newsletter. The committee works closely with the centre director and lead educator to ensure that there continues to be a strong focus on family and community involvement and a continuation of the centre’s founding philosophy and values. We welcome parents and carers of any families who attend the centre to join our committee.
